Laura is a CDA-Licensed clinical psychotherapist, from Colombia, with a master's degree in clinical and health psychology. She is trained to provide evidence-based interventions and has specialized experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults across individual, couple, family, and group settings. With a strong background in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and interpersonal
difficulties—particularly within families and couples—she also conducts parent training to manage behavioral challenges in children.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Laura has effectively served clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations. She has participated in clinical care initiatives, including a project aimed at enhancing mental health services for migrants, where she focused on the unique challenges they face and developed
tailored interventions to support their well-being. In her clinical practice, Laura values an
integrative approach, considering variables from different psychological areas to create
comprehensive interventions. Additionally, her extensive experience in neuroscience and clinical research informs her therapeutic practice and deepens her understanding of mental health.
