Raneem Nageeb
Psychologist
Raneem is a US-educated and trained Saudi Psychologist licensed by the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai. She received her BSc in Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and her MA in Counselling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. She is also a member of the American Counselling Association (ACA).
As a Saudi female raised in the US, Raneem recognizes the importance of culturally sensitive psychotherapy. This approach considers an individual’s culture, religion, generation, and upbringing as these add another layer to mental wellbeing. For that reason, Raneem uses a multicultural and solution-focused therapeutic technique to guide individuals through their challenges, find clarity, and cultivate more fulfilling lives.
Raneem’s specialized interests include anxiety, depression, complex trauma, sexual abuse, mood disorders, low self-esteem, relational conflicts, life transitions, acculturation issues, and relationships. She is also trained in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which she often utilizes with individuals facing adverse life events.
Raneem holds a background in various settings including community mental health, residential treatment, and higher education. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
