Clinical Psychologist (MSc)
Carla Bou Dargham is a CDA-licensed Clinical Psychologist in Dubai, holding an MSc in Clinical Psychology from the University of Reading (UK). She supports both adults and children in navigating emotional, relational, and psychological challenges, with a practice grounded in empathy, depth, and clinical rigor.
Carla began her clinical career in Lebanon, where she developed experience working with adults presenting with depression, anxiety, and emotional distress. In addition to her work with adults, she has extensive experience in school counseling, supporting children in the development of emotional regulation, adaptive coping skills, and healthy behavioral functioning within academic and social environments.
Central to Carla’s work is a belief that meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely heard. She creates a collaborative and reflective therapeutic space where clients can explore their inner world, develop resilience, and gain clarity around their emotions and relationships. Informed by both her clinical work and lived experience, she is particularly attentive to the psychological impact of life transitions, including relocation and periods of instability, allowing her to support clients with depth and sensitivity as they navigate life transitions and build a sense of home away from home. Her work frequently focuses on emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and the development of resilience in the face of stress.
