About the event
What is PACT?
PACT is an evidence-based therapy for children between 2-11 with social communication differences. PACT has shown long-term effectiveness in improving child communication initiation, where the child became a more active communicator. PACT is a strength-based relationship approach that embraces your child's interests, style, and attributes, allowing them to realise their potential by promoting a more supportive interaction and environment. PACT uses video-feedback for delivery so can be online or in person.
What is the orientation session?
In this session, the therapist will discuss your child's communication strengths and needs to determine if they are appropriate for PACT. We will discuss how PACT can support you and how many sessions would be suitable for your family. We are happy to be flexible with the commitment of PACT to support your family.
